The turning point, getting the right material

The turning point, getting the right material
As I worked in Geneva I took a longer break and went to Athleticum in Meyrin. I was looking at the different shoes when a woman approached me, asking if she could help me. I explained my worries and desires and she told me that she was an ex professional marathon runner. So she asked me to run in the shop in front of her to see how I would roll over the feet. Coming back she said that there were only 2 brands that would fit me and that I'd need pronation support. Never heard of something like this and the fact that she narrowed it down to two brands made me think that she wanted to rip me off. I purposely did not look at the price tag and tried on a pair of Asics and then a pair of Mizuno shoes.(Again I never heard of Mizuno). Waow the Asics were so much different from my Adidas and then I ran with the Mizuno. Both times she fitted a sensor around my foot to capture all movements and the absorption to get the best shoe for me. 10m with the Mizuno and for me it was clear that I had never ever worn such a good shoe for my feet.
The best surprise was then the price, at that time the shoes were a mere135 CHF. She explained me that she had insisted that the shop should list them and indeed, no other subsidiary of them had them.
Off I went and my pleasure for running increased. This year, 2007 I finished Lausanne in 3.22h, again I had largely beaten my target. I felt that it was time for more, time for change. A certain point  in my career was reached, I was director and with the challenge raising on the job I raised my personal challenge in sports. On top of it the private challenge was raised as well, we wanted another child.
